Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 30 when Keith Memorial UMC will hosts its inaugural “Church in the Park” event at Athens Regional Park’s large pavilion.

A combined worship service will begin at 10:35 a.m., with lunch following at 11:45 a.m. Lunch will include hamburgers and hot dogs. Church members are asked to provide side dishes, drinks and desserts. Sign-up sheets for these items are available in the church office.

Following lunch, we invite you to participate in a variety of games, sports or fishing in the pond. There will be lots of activities for children as well.

There will be no services or Sunday School classes at the church that day. Dress will be casual.
