Labor of Love featured

We invite you to take part in our inaugural #LaborOfLove Sunday event on Sunday, September 4.

On this day our doors will be closed — there will be no Sunday School classes or church services within the building, as we go out to be the church in our community and bless others through our service.

All members and guests of the Keith Church congregation are encouraged to take part in serving others through various activities. Be creative! Come up with your own activity or participate in an activity organized by the church. You may choose to serve as an individual or participate in activity organized by a group of people, such as your Sunday School class or UMW Circle. Here are a few questions to consider when choosing your activity:

≡ Where are people who aren’t in church on Sunday morning?

≡ How can we be a blessing to them?

≡ How can we be a blessing to those who have to work on Sunday?

≡ Who could use a cup of coffee, a few gallons of gas, or a few extra groceries?

≡ How can we reach out to our hospitals, gas stations, restaurants, and to our police and emergency personnel?

≡ If you are traveling for Labor Day weekend, how can you be a blessing wherever you will be?

≡ How can we bless those who are traveling through our area that day?
