Due to significant rain and possible thunderstorms predicted for Sunday, May 21, we are changing our Church in the Park event to Sunday, May 28. We hope you’ll join us for a combined worship service Sunday, May 28 at 10:35 a.m. at Athens Regional Park’s largest pavilion (near the pond).

On Sunday, May 21, we will have our 8:30 a.m. service as usual and Sunday School will meet at their discretion. At 10:35 a.m. we will have a combined service in The Gathering.

Lunch, which is FREE and includes hamburgers and hot dogs, will follow the service at approximately 11:45 a.m. We need church members to sign up to bring side dishes, drinks and desserts. Sign-up sheets may be found in the church office.

Following lunch, stay around to participate in games, sports or fishing in the pond!

Remember …

• There will be no services or Sunday School classes at the church on this day
• Dress is casual – shorts are acceptable attire
• Bring a folding/camping chair if you have one
• Parking in the lower lot, closest to the pavilion, will be reserved for handicap parking
• You are welcome to bring your own games or sports equipment and organize a game at the park
